Caring for Young Minds

Julie Bolding began her career as a middle school teacher in 1990. Driven by a desire to support students' mental health, she transitioned into school psychology, earning her graduate degree from the University of Colorado Denver. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Julie has served the Jefferson County community since 1997. While she spent much of her career in middle schools, she has spent the last six years in high schools, often accompanied by her two "therapoodles."

Julie is a dedicated leader in her field, having served two terms as President of the Colorado Society of School Psychologists. She is currently the Colorado delegate for the National Association of School Psychologists and is a two-time nominee for Colorado School Psychologist of the Year.

Outside of work, Julie embraces the Colorado lifestyle through hiking, fly fishing, gardening, and pickleball, spending time with her adult children or training her standard poodle in agility.
